If you’re designing a theme, developing a plugin, or building a self-hosted WordPress site, here are some helpful resources at NC State.
- NC State Brand – Websites at NC State should be consistent with university branding guidelines. Visit the Brand website for an overview and contact Web Communications for more information.
- Accessibility @ NC State – It’s important to provide a web environment that’s accessible to all users in the NC State community. Visit accessibility.ncsu.edu for developer resources and contact accessibility@ncsu.edu for more information.
- Web Communications – Web Communications maintains the university homepage, core NC State websites, and provides guidance to the rest of campus on the university’s web identity.
- OIT Design – OIT Design can assist you in designing and developing your WordPress website and answer questions about your hosting options on campus. They manage NC State’s WordPress Blogs and Hosted WordPress services, and partner with OIT-IWS to maintain the cPanel web hosting service.
- ITECS – ITECS provides IT support for the College of Engineering, including WordPress services.
- GitHub at NC State – Make your code available to the rest of the campus community.
